For 72+ years, LA Hebrew High has steadfastly served the Greater Los Angeles Jewish Community offering Hebrew as a Foreign Language to nearly 3,600 teens since inception! See our Alumni Class Wall!

WHY LA HEBREW HIGH?

A community school, LA Hebrew High offers courses that combine in-person learning with supplemental virtual classroom online sessions in order to fit the busy schedules of as many local Jewish teens throughout Los Angeles Jewish community as possible.

LAHHS offers its students, Grades 7-12, a quality education, providing high school foreign language credit (for local school districts, including many private & charter schools) in a relaxed and social setting.

Students bolster their resumes & stand out in their college applications with this substantial extra-curricular and academically demanding activity, and create lasting peer friendships and meaningful connections with teachers/mentors.

LA Hebrew High gives students the tools they need to fight anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism and all forms of bigotry, while also building bridges to other communities.

LA Hebrew High is both WASC-accredited and has UCOP A-G Online Publisher recognition making our credits recognizable by every UC School in California!
